Paul Thomas Harvey, age 66, of Sanderson, Florida, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City after a lengthy illness. Born in Jacksonville on October 17, 1959, he was the son of Margaret (Leslie) and Talmadge W. Harvey.
Paul was a devoted husband of 38 years, loving father, and attentive grandfather and great-grandfather. He faithfully served this nation in the United States Army and then with the Florida National Guard. Paul was an individual who liked to live life on his own terms and was an avid outdoorsman.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, who mostly raised him, Duff and Lovie Davis; brother, David D. Harvey; and his sister, Martha Harvey. Survivors include his devoted wife, Sandra R. Harvey; daughters, Heather Eakin (B.J.) of Glen St. Mary, Jackie Wallace (Randy) of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jennifer Harvey of Florida, and Joannie Harvey of Florida; son, Ryan Keene of Hustonville, Kentucky; sister, Georgia Bell of Glen St. Mary; grandchildren, Natalie, Layla, Austin, Leland, Katelyn, Garrett, Cameron, Melanie, and Chris; 8 great-grandchildren; along with friends, and distant family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylor.
Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00–7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
