Neal Dana Paulson, age 80, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024. He was born in Austin, Minnesota, on February 20, 1944, to Vivian Mae (Nelson) and Arlie Arthur Paulson. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Neal served in the U.S. Army. He was a small business owner and had a successful restaurant for many years. Neal enjoyed golfing and fishing. Neal was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Noel Paulson, Bradley Paulson, and Darryl Paulson. He is survived by his children, Neal Dana Paulson, II (Julie) of Wayzata, Minnesota, Pamela Domenici of Reedly, California, and Barbara Brosbik of Brookings, South Dakota; sisters, Naomi Kline of Jacksonville, Florida, Barbara Bolitho (Jim) of Haywood, Wisconsin, Beverly Krog (Jerry) of Lake Benton, Minnesota, Debra Dupree of Rosa Rita, Mexico, and Denise Hughes-Villes (Juan) of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Meghan Spuehler (Wes), Brooke Black (Leland), Savanah Barker, Joey Domenici Paulson, and A.J. Paulson; great-grandchildren, Abigail Persons, Adelynn Persons, Delany Spuehler, and Leland Black. Mr. Paulson will be laid to rest at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55450.
