Nathan “Joe” Rhoden, age 66, of Baxter, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at the Haven Hospice Custead Care Center. He was born on June 19, 1960, in Jacksonville to Mary Opal (Williams) and Henry Seaf Rhoden. 
Joe was a simple man and loved riding in the woods. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dave Rhoden; and sister, Gloria Chesser. Joe is survived by his brothers, Tom Rhoden (Theresa) and Roe Rhoden (Rita); sister-in-law, Joyce Harvey; dear friends, Jessie Harvey and Tomboy Jewell; along with other family members and friends. 
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2026, at North Prong Cemetery with Pastor Dale Hodges Jr. officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service at the cemetery. 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with Joe’s funeral expenses.
