Mykayla Elizabeth Joyce Fisher was born on August 29, 2011, in Jacksonville, Florida. Mykayla went to be with her Heavenly Father on September 25, 2019, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous 4-year battle with cancer. Mykayla was a beautiful little girl who was known for her sassy personality and heart of gold. Mykayla enjoyed arts and crafts, watching Friends with her mom, and Harry Potter with her dad. She adored her big brother, shopping at Target, playing dragons with her best buddy, Wyatt, and snuggling with her bunny, Nala Lou-Who Fisher. Mykayla is survived by her parents, Roderick and Jennifer Fisher; her brother, Nathan Stanfield; grandparents, Roderick, and Teresa Fisher, and David Stanfield; great grandmothers, Redetha Petrone and Deloris Jenkins; and great grandfather, John Fisher. Mykayla was proceeded into death by her grandmother, Beth Stanfield; great grandparents, Max and Virginia Stanfield; grandmother, Josephine Fisher; and great grandfather, Stanley Petrone. Mykayla is loved and cherished by many aunts, uncles, and cousins and will be greatly missed. Her family would like to thank her Oncologist, Dr. Eric Sandler and his wonderful team at Nemours Children's Clinic. A Celebration of Mykayla's Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at Holiday Hill Baptist Church, 730 Mandalay Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32216 with Pastor Milton Dykes officiating.
