She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church (now Heritage Church) for most of her life and more recently at Raiford Road Church. As an active member of the Garden Club of Baker County, she served as the devotions chair for many years. She combined her love for scripture and gardening, which eventually led to her becoming the author of "Devotions from the Garden" which includes almost 270 inspirational daily devotions that she shared with family and friends. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Dewey Burnsed and David Burnsed, and brother-in-law, Travick Green. Survivors include her beloved husband of 64 years, Kyle E. Brown of Glen St. Mary; sons, Kevin E. Brown of Glen St. Mary and Gregory Q.
