Michael Robert Kronz III, age 76, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville. He was born in Sacramento, California, on December 3, 1944, to Katherine (Miller) and Michael Robert Kronz II. After high school, Michael proudly served this country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Michael was a hard working man with a passion to build things and he turned that passion into a 42 year job as a carpenter. A loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother that dedicated himself to his work and his family. In his free time, he enjoyed watching John Wayne westerns on tv or being out on the water in his boat. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Walter Kronz; sister, Patricia Brier; daughter, Melissa Rowland; and his beloved wife of 43 years, Margaret Kronz. Survivors include his sons, Michael R. Kronz IV, and Marcus Kronz (Monica); daughter, Melinda Hartwig (Alphonzso Maxwell); brother, Bobby Kronz; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
