Michael Brandon "Bucket" Godwin, age 26, of Maxville, Florida, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in an automobile accident. Born in Jacksonville, he was a lifelong resident of Maxville. Brandon was always helping people and never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his daughter.
Brandon was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William H. Godwin, Sr. He is survived by his daughter, Erin Michelle Godwin of Maxville; the mother of his daughter, Niki Spencer of Maxville; father, William "Bill" H. Godwin, Jr. of Maxville; mother, Betty A. Godwin (Scott McDaniel) of Maxville; paternal grandmother, Gloria Godwin of Maxville; maternal grandparents, Albert and Nancy Fearby of Middleport, NY; brother, Jason Godwin of Maxville; sister, Jamee Godwin of Maxville; along with one niece, three nephews, numerous other family members, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, July 16, 2017 in the chapel of Blackburn-Curry Funeral and Cremation with Rev. Lonnie McDaniel officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
