Melissa Ann Strickland, age 46, of Palatka, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. She was born in Jacksonville on April 16, 1979. Melissa lived her life with a big heart and a sweet soul. She was the definition of a fun loving goofball, never afraid to make a silly face or crack a funny joke. The beach was her happy place where she could swim and soak up the sunshine. More than anything, Melissa enjoyed spending time with the people she adored, especially her kids, whom she loved deeply. Melissa was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Albert and Mattie Mae Pringle, as well as her father, Windle Pringle. Survivors include her sons, Christian Bell, Brantlee Rainey, and Larry Morris; daughters, Faith Strickland and Hope Strickland; stepson, Robert Lee Prince Jr; stepdaughters, Katie Kennedy and Taylor Kennedy; mother, Tressa Christy (Deese); brother, Charles Padgett; stepmother, Alice Surrency; grandchildren, Jake Jones, David Kennedy, Hayden Kennedy, Maribelle Kennedy, Addison Engle, Bradley Engle, Kinslee Engle; and spouse, Robert "Bobby" Prince. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Baldwin.
