Ms. Mary Isadora Ehlers, age 82, a lifelong resident of Baldwin, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. Mary was born in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Kathryn Mae Brown and Benjamin Frederick Ehlers. She was a kind and loving sister and aunt who dedicated herself to the service of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Ms. Mary was a member of Baldwin First United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years. She spent her entire working career at Prudential Insurance Company before retiring in 1994 after 38 years. Mary was known as "Smarty Pants," a certified clown and member of the Gator Clowns of Jacksonville, Florida. She was also a member of the American Business Women's Association from 1973-2017, where she held numerous offices within the organization and was Business Woman of the Year. Mary is survived by her three brothers, Buddy Williamson of Baldwin, FL, Stan Williamson (Yvonne) of Baldwin, FL, and Stewart Williamson (Lynn) of Jacksonville, FL; many nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends. Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on August 24, 2019, at Baldwin First United Methodist Church, 51 S. Chestnut Street, Baldwin, Florida 32234.
