Maria B. Morales, age 74, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021. She had lived in Jacksonville since 2005, having moved from the Philippines. Mrs. Morales attended St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Orange Park, loved cooking, gardening, oldies but goodies songs, and most of all loved spending time with her family. She was employed by Clay County School Board. Mrs. Morales was preceded in death by her parents, Salvador and Eutiquia Borromeo; a son, Jomar B. Morales, and daughter, Erlinda B. Morales. Survivors include her husband, Josefino L. Morales; sons, Mario B. Morales (Delmarie), Vergel B. Morales (Evelyn), Josefino B. Morales, Jr., Oliver B. Morales (Hilda), and Mike Borromeo; daughter, Maria Selina M. Harvin; 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and brothers, Melchor Borromeo and Salvador Borromeo, Jr. (Gloria). A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1649 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park.
