Margaret Louise Crain, age 83, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Custead Care Center in Orange Park. She was born on December 21, 1941, in Asheville, North Carolina, one of four children to Betsy and George N. Moore. Mrs. Crain had lived in Baker County since 1980. Mrs. Crain was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed tending to her houseplants and her little dog, Spunky. She proudly drove a school bus for the Baker County School District for many years. She enjoyed the relationships she formed with her riders over the years. Mrs. Crain was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Frank and George Moore; sister, Brenda Phelps; son, Steven Lee Crain; and her beloved husband of 61 years, Donald R. Crain. Survivors include her sons, Donald Ray Crain Jr. (Joyce) of Chesapeake, Virginia, Frank E. Crain (Danielle) of Glen St. Mary, and Kevin Crain (Dani) of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Beth Linhardt (Jacob), Anna Leigh Crain, Jonathan Ray Crain, Gauge Barton, Ashleigh Crain, Frank E. Crain Jr. (Kaylee), Cameron Crain, Chayse Crain, Caedan Crain, Colton Crain, Ariel Crain, Kelsea M. Crain, and Kevin M. Crain Jr.; great-grandchildren, Blaire Hinson, Kaleigh Linhardt, and Kendall Linhardt. Private family services will be held at a later date.
