Marcus Clayton Reimer, age 41, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026. He was born on June 5, 1984, in St. Augustine, Florida, to Russell Clayton Reimer and Teresa Turner Reimer. He spent his early years in St. Augustine before relocating to Jacksonville. Marcus was a humble young man known for his dedication to serving others. He possessed a meek and gentle spirit and was fiercely loyal to his family. He was the person one could always count on for a helping hand, never expecting anything in return. His quiet and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who loved him. He was predeceased by his parents, Russell Clayton Reimer, and Teresa Turner Reimer; brother, Timothy Russell Reimer; paternal grandparents, Clayton Roosevelt and Elizabeth Nix Reimer; maternal grandparents, Valeen B. Turner and Martha Juanita Howell-Hays; and niece, Alexis M. Carroll. Survivors include his brother, Tim D. Reimer (Meredith); sisters, Julie D. Reimer-Theophile, Melinda Reimer Carroll-Carter (Chris), and Amanda G. Reimer (Kevin); nieces and nephews, Wesley R. Zipperer, David E. Zipperer, Paul B. Carroll Jr. (Chyenne), Cameron J. Carroll, Chase J. Carroll (Mason), Jase E. O'neil, Ashton L. O'neil, Kaylee M. Fox, Levi C. Fox, Kevin R. Fox Jr., Jacob D. Reimer, Travis C. Reimer, Thomas D. Reimer, Christopher J. Carter Jr., and Christina M. Carter; MANY great-nieces and great-nephews; and many other beloved family members and friends. While no formal services are planned at this time, Marcus will be laid to rest at Jacksonville Memory Gardens. The family will hold a "Celebration of Life" for family and friends at a later date.
