Lynda Carol Munsey, age 77, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center South under the care of Community Hospice. She was born on November 28, 1946, in Lake Worth, Florida, to Bernard Austin Munsey and Betty Jane (White) Munsey. Years later Lynda moved to Jacksonville to be closer to family. Lynda attended Southside Assembly of God in Jacksonville. She loved being with her family and her three Yorkies. Lynda was a cosmetologist for many years before she started her second career teaching Medical Billing and Coding. After retiring, she enjoyed watching TV. Her favorite shows were Walker Texas Ranger, CSI, and Murder She Wrote. Lynda is preceded in death by her parents and life partner of 30 years, Norman Griffin. She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Taira Wilds (Doug), Leigh Ann Lunsford (John), and Tracey Pitcock; and grandchildren, Ansleigh Herrera, Evan Lunsford, Hanna Scholl, and Gracey Scholl.
