Linda Gail Martin, age 72, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away peacefully at home under the care of Haven Hospice on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. She was born in Macclenny, Florida, on July 3, 1951, to Sarilda (Pringle) and Osvell Mobley and was a lifetime resident of Baker County. Linda has held many careers, including a cleaning business. Her most favorite role was being a homemaker and spoiling her grandchildren. Linda attended Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church and loved the Lord. She enjoyed sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee and being with the grandchildren. Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Raiford Martin; granddaughter, Tiffany Christie; sister, Carolyn Godwin; and brothers, Marvin, Tommy, Carlie, and Jerrell Mobley. She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Rene Jordan (Brent), Bubba Jordan (Hope), and Tommy Martin (Britney Gay); siblings, Janice Griffis (Donnie), Henry Mobley, Douglas Mobley (Patricia) and Russell Norman (Stacia); 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral Services for Linda Gail Martin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church, located at 8443 County Road 127, Sanderson, Florida 32087. Pastor Oral Lyons and Reverend Justin Griffis will officiate. Interment will follow at Turner Cemetery in Sanderson. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church and one hour prior to service on Friday.
