Linda Jean Hullett, age 76, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Macclenny Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. She was born to Pauline (Brinson) and John Dyes in Jacksonville on September 18, 1948. Linda had been a resident of Baker County for a little over four months having moved from Satsuma. She loved planting flowers, thrift store shopping, and supporting many animal rescues. Linda was not afraid of work and was employed with Hagan ACE Hardware for 20+ years before she retired. Her passion was spoiling her little dogs and cats as we are sure they greeted her at the gates of heaven. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jack and Gerald Dyes; sister, Carolyn Dyes; and nephew, Carl Perdue. Survivors include her two sons, Shawn Patrick Hullett Sr. (Samantha) of St. Johns and Derek Lee Hullett Sr. (Misty Sanders) of Satsuma; grandchildren, Derek Hullett Jr. (Zoey Shee), Shawn Hullett Jr., and Avereigh Hullett; great-grandchild, Kenzlee Hullett; nieces, Tammy Zoller and Kathy Corns, both of Macclenny; nephews, Terry Perdue and Jack Dyes Jr., both of Jacksonville; along with numerous great nieces and nephews.
