Laurel Lee Rewis, age 66, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 1, 1959, in Jacksonville and had lived in Miami most of her life until illness brought her back home to be cared for by her devoted mother. She was one of two girls born to Helen Baldwin and Obie Rewis Jr.
Laurel Lee was a hardworking daughter and loving sister who enjoyed being with her family and adored her cats.
She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother, Helen B. Rewis of Glen St. Mary; sister, Lisa Carpenter (Keith) of Hollywood, Florida; and her nephew, K.C. Carpenter.
Private services were held.
