Larry Leo Harris, age 77, of Maxville, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Premier Assisted Living in Orange Park. He was born in Maxville on November 27, 1947, to Elizabeth (Caldwell) and Leo Harris and had lived there most of his life. Larry had a big heart and was always smiling. Everyone close to him knew that his favorite pastime was being outdoors. He loved to rake yards and take walks in all kinds of weather. Larry was truly a blessing to know and will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Christine and Etta Faye; brothers, Don and Wendell Harris; and his friend and longtime caretaker, Leon Hazelwood Sr. of Clay Hill. Survivors include his sister, Loretta Bennett (Stanley) of Cuyler; brother, Alvin Harris (Vicky) of Maxville; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
