Larry Thurston Dixon, age 80, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital. He was born in Jesup, Georgia, on February 3, 1944, to Ivy Lee (Ratliff) and Elmer Eugene Dixon. Mr. Larry Moved to Baker County from Jacksonville in 2019. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle and was of the Baptist faith. Larry was also a long haul truck driver and loved being on the road exploring the country. He was preceded in death by his parents and 11 siblings. Survivors include his son, Jerry Dixon of Jacksonville; daughter, Tammy Swain of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Chasity Martin and Jacob Brodie; great-grandchildren, Dalton Martin, Coleton Martin, Peyton Martin, and  Jeremy Brodie; along with several nieces and nephews.
