Kyle "Mike" Maurice Cannon Sr., age 80, a lifelong resident of Maxville, Florida, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Jacksonville on March 22, 1945, to Ollie Mae (Bornstein) and Nathaniel L. Cannon. Mr. Cannon was a caring father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He worked as a Boiler Maker before he retired, loved fishing, and enjoyed hanging out with his family. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Nathan Cannon and Bruce Cannon; and sister, Gloria E. Godwin. He is survived by his sons, Kyle M. Cannon Jr. (Melissa) of Macclenny, Tony Guthrie of Glen St. Mary, and David Cannon of Macclenny; daughters, Vickie Curtis (Mark) of Brooker, and Dena Manning (Joey); sister, Helen Austin (Wilbur) of Lawtey; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
