Kirk L. Hedrick, age 56, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, following an extended illness. He was born in Marion, Indiana, but lived in Jacksonville since he was 4 years old. Kirk played Little League baseball at Sans Souci. He attended Southside Junior High and Englewood High School, where he graduated in 1987 and played baseball. He later received a baseball scholarship to pitch at The University of North Florida. Kirk was a longtime member of The Jacksonville Bass Club, where he served for many years as Treasurer and Club Secretary. He was the manager at Sports Unlimited for many years and was later the office manager for Munson & Bryan Electric Company for several years. Kirk loved working with his hands to create projects, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He loved the Gators, Jaguars, and spending time with his family and friends. Kirk was preceded in death by his father, John Hedrick. Survivors include his mother, Marie Hedrick, and his brother, Kevin Hedrick, along with many other family and friends.
