Kay F. Harden, age 89, formerly of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Community Hospice in Jacksonville, Florida.
Mrs. Harden was a faithful member of the Church of God. She dearly loved her family and everything about worshiping her Lord. She fought a good fight and kept the faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Charles E. Harden, and her son, Jayson Harden. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Maurer (Jeffrey); daughter-in-law, Kelly Harden; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Maurer (Amy), Aaron Maurer (Shelley), and Meghan Cooper (Jason); 8 great-grandchildren, Nicholas Maurer (Jessica), Tyler Maurer, Kenley Maurer, Kora Maurer, Tatum Cooper, Emery Cooper, and Blithe Cooper. She will be dearly missed by all who have known and loved her.
Mrs. Harden’s homegoing will be celebrated graveside at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32205. The family will receive friends a half hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
