Katherine "Kathy" Brogdon Branham, age 72, a lifelong resident of Baker County, Florida, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025. She was born in Jacksonville on June 3, 1953, to Katherine (Dowling) and John Charles Brogdon. Kathy was a caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She worked at NEFSH as a pharmacy tech for many years before becoming a correctional officer at Lake Butler Reception Center, where she retired after working 25 plus years for the State of Florida. She was a force to be reckoned with. Kathy was resilient throughout her life, fighting for and protecting her family. She was a member of Glen Friendship Tabernacle Church. She loved going to church, spending time with her church family, singing hymns, and thrift store shopping. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Randall Brogdon; and daughter, Rhonda Ray. She is survived by loving children, Donna Starling (Albert) of Macclenny, Michael "Mike" Brannen (Jill) of Glen St. Mary, and Robert Branham of Glen St. Mary; brothers, John C. Brogdon of Glen St. Mary and Bobby Drew Brogdon (Pat) of Cuyler; beloved grandchildren, Brandon Brannen, Shelton Brannen (Abby), Emily Tanner, Rebecca Branham, Weston Branham, and John Randall Branham; great-granddaughter, Juniper Joyce Brannen; best friend, Paulinda Harvey; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Glen Friendship Tabernacle Church with Dr. Albert Starling officiating. Burial in Manntown Cemetery will follow. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Glen Friendship Tabernacle Church.
