Obituary

Joseph Dale Carrow II, age 17, of Sanderson, Florida, is now resting in the arms of Jesus having passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was the son of Monica Alicia (Starling) and Joseph Dale Carrow and was born on October 11, 2006, in Orange Park. Joey loved spending time with his family, especially his brothers. He enjoyed working on cars, playing guitar, and writing songs. Joey was preceded in death by his sister, Emily Diane Annette Carrow. He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Monica Carrow; brothers, Nathaniel, Noah, and Eli Carrow; maternal grandparents, Larry Michael and Sheila Hicks Starling Franke; paternal grandparents, William and Delores Carrow; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Reverend David Crawford officiating. Interment will follow in Conner-Green Cemetery in Hilliard. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
