Joseph "Joe" Clyde Anderson Jr., age 64, a lifelong resident of Baker County, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. He was born at Ed Fraser Hospital in Macclenny on June 15, 1961. Joe lived his life with the love of his family, friends, the Florida Gators, cookouts, and most of all, fishing. There wasn't a day that went by after he was forced to retire from construction and driving a dump truck that he didn't nag someone to go fishing with him. He had a favorite fishing hole in St. George, Georgia, that not many people knew about. He went there one last time two weeks before passing, and he had a blast. Joe was preceded in death by his dad, Joseph Clyde Anderson Sr.; brother, Johnny Maliachi Anderson; and many uncles and aunts. He leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Tracey Anderson; mom, Mary Lou Anderson; sister, Melanie Anderson; brother, Jeremy Anderson Sr.; son, James Anderson; step-children Tyler Trail Sr. (Bella), Travis Trail (Megan), Allen Trail (Francis); and five grandchildren, Scarlett, Christian, Syrena, Tyler Jr., and the newest edition, Noah; nieces and nephews, Sara and Andrew Jordan and family, Dennis O'Neal Whaley, Jeremy Anderson (Celine) and family, Tiffany Whaley, and many more.
