IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Johnny "Jack"
Lauramore
October 1, 1956 – June 12, 2025
Johnny Jack Lauramore, age 68, of Satsuma, Florida, passed away at Putnam Hospital on Thursday, June 12, 2025. He was born on October 1, 1956, to Johnny Junior and Lois (Mosley) Lauramore in Macclenny, Florida. Jack lived in Macclenny until about 30 years ago when he relocated to Satsuma to be closer to his parents, who had retired there. Jack graduated from Baker County High School in 1975. He excelled in Football and was a great asset to the Wildcat Team, an accomplishment which he was very proud of, especially since he had a major vision problem and was considered legally blind. He went to work at Northeast Florida State Hospital after graduation until he moved to Satsuma. He became a commercial crabber and fisherman. Jack was a wild and crazy soul with a heart of gold. He loved playing flag football, playing pool, and rooster fighting. He was preceded in death by his parents; former wife, Trish; son, Johnny Jack Jr.; sisters, Gloria Padgett and Bernice Thomas; grandparents, Rich and Emma (Harvey) Lauramore, and George and Juanita (Thomas) Mosley. He is survived by his children, Amanda, Danielle, and George Lauramore, all of Satsuma, and Savannah (Tyler) Powell of Sanderson; 17 grandchildren; siblings, Cliff (Betty) Haines of Moreland, Georgia, Jimmy (Norma) Lauramore of Glen St. Mary, Lavon (Lenny) Bass of Satsuma, Georgia Lane of Orlando, Linda Carter of Macclenny, and Pat (Amos) Rhoden of Macclenny. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025, at CFT Common Ground Chapel with Pastor David Thomas officiating. He will be laid to rest at Turner Cemetery. Cremation arrangements entrusted to the dedicated care of BLACKBURN-CURRY FUNERAL AND CREMATION, 380 N. Lowder Street, Macclenny, Florida 32063. (904) 259-2806.
