Mr. Johnnie Claude Ellion, age 75, of Jacksonville, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Macclenny Nursing and Rehab. Mr. Ellion was born on January 20, 1946, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Richard Jenkins and Mary Elizabeth Campbell. He graduated high school in 1964 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and moved to Jacksonville over 25 years ago. Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of over 25 years, Gwen Ellion; and his daughter, Brenda Ellion. Left to cherish his loving memory are his daughter, Berdell Clayton; brothers, Jack Williams Jr., James Williams, and Danny R. Campbell; sister, Jo Ann Taylor; grandchildren, Taniesha Williams, Zara Simpson, Americuss Clayton, and Desmond Hutchinson; great-grandchild, Keith Johnson; along with other family members and friends.
