Jimmy "Bo" Midyette, age 68, of Maxville, Florida, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center Oakleaf after an extended illness. He was born in Jacksonville on December 30, 1955, to Bonnie Laura (Deese) and Sammie Midyette. Bo was a loving husband and father who enjoyed stock car racing from dirt tracks to NASCAR super speedways. He would pull for anyone who was driving a FORD. Bo was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Edward Midyette. Survivors include his devoted wife of 48 years, Louise Midyette, of Maxville; sons, Jimmy Midyette, Jr. (Alex) of Jacksonville and Brian Martin (Jenny) of Nocatee; brother, Samuel Midyette (Josie) of Macclenny; and grandchildren, Max and Tyler Martin. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Deese Family Cemetery in Maxville with Pastor Kent Williams officiating.
