Jimmie “Jimmy” Leon Streat, age 63, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2026, after a courageous battle against cancer. He was born on September 20, 1963, in Macclenny to Dolly Mae (Parkerson) and Joseph Perry Streat.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, Jimmy loved being in the woods working timber. His favorite pastime was hunting and fishing.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sharon Bennett; beloved daughter, Christina Streat; precious grandsons, Joseph Streat and Trever Thornton; and loving wife of 45 years, Sandra Streat. Survivors include his daughters, Amanda Lynn Hodges (John Vann) of Denver, North Carolina, and Nickie Nicole Finley (Kevin) of Glen St. Mary; sister, Karen Bennett (Bobby) of Taylor; grandchildren, Jonathan (Kansas), Emilie (Trace), Gary (Connor), Hailey (Phillip), and Jase; great-grandchildren, Brinleigh, Olivia, and Lane; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Manntown Cemetery.
