Jeremiah Wayne Jarvis Trantham, 7 months old, of St. George, Georgia, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, June 29, 2025. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on November 13, 2024, to Letha Nevaeh Jarvis and Cody Shane Trantham. Jeremiah was a happy baby. He was smiling and loved watching cartoons. His favorite was Paw Patrol. Jeremiah was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, and cousin who will be forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his great-great-grandfather, Wes Thomas; great-grandparents, Letha Jarvis, Kelly Trantham, and Herman C. Carswell; grandparents, Karen and Kenneth Barron Jr.; and uncle, Mathew Mette. Jeremiah is survived by his Mommy and Daddy, Letha and Cody of St. George; grandparents, Cherree "Lollie" and Andy "Pop" Griffin of Callahan, Tonya and Eric Trantham of St. George, Crystal "Nah Nah" Jarvis of St. George, Gracie "GiGi" Larry of St. George, and Brian Singletary of Jacksonville; great-grandparents, Jack Jarvis of Macclenny, Christina Carswell (Eddie Williams) of Jacksonville; great-great-grandparents, Annette Thomas of St. George, Patricia Anderson of Callahan, and Merle Burt of Jacksonville; aunts and uncles, Chelsy Griffin (Rob), Tiffany Hayes (Jeremy), Dalton Trantham, Allie May Griffin, Kaitlyn Lindsey, Levi Trantham, Autumn Trantham, Timothy Mette, Joshua Mette, Kaitlyn Starling, Kat Barron, Kenny Barron III, and Payton Griffin; along with numerous cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Roy Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery.
