Ms. Jeannie Marie Hart, age 59, of Macclenny, Florida passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City after an extended illness. She was born on November 18, 1959 in Starke, Florida to Ansel and Daphine Norma Griffis. Jeannie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, and being with her family and friends whom she loved dearly. She also loved to teach and talk about Jesus to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jeffrey Floyd, Jack Richendollar, James Richendollar, Johnny Richendollar; and her sister, Jo Evens Heath. She is survived by her sons, Michael Bennett of Macclenny, and J.D. Hart of Macclenny; daughter, Angel Bennett Miller (Arnold) of Baxter; brother, Gregory Griffis of Macclenny; sister, Geneva Rhoden of Macclenny; grandchildren, Maegen Miller, Cassie Miller, Justin Miller, Abigail Bennett, Cale Bennett, and Zane Bennett; great grandchildren, Serenity, Ila, Link, and Gabriel; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Visitation with the family will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the funeral home with Elder Joseph Heath officiating. Interment in Macedonia Cemetery will follow.
