IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James Henry
Williams Ii
September 3, 1952 – February 20, 2026
James Henry Williams II, age 73, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Macclenny Nursing and Rehab. He was born in Jacksonville on September 3, 1952, to Hattie (Paige) and James Henry Williams Sr. We gather to remember a good man, one who lived simply, loved deeply, and never met a stranger. James proudly served his country in the United States Navy, carrying that service with quiet honor. After returning home, he worked in waste management until his health no longer allowed him to continue. Through every season of life, James faced each day with strength and grace. He had a kind heart and a friendly spirit, and he had a way of making everyone feel welcome. James loved attending church and found joy in sitting in his Circle K circle, talking, laughing, sharing stories, and enjoying his scratch-offs. Those moments brought him happiness and built friendships that became family. James is survived by his devoted caretaker and dear beloved friend, Melissa Malloy of Macclenny, whose love, friendship, and care meant more to him than words could express. He is also lovingly remembered by his beloved friends, Kaleb and Karter Pendleton, and Ember Malloy (known as his little buddy), all of Macclenny. They all brought joy and friendship into his life. James also leaves behind beloved friends, Courtney Malloy of Macclenny and Laci Miller of Cuyler. Their friendship and presence were deeply meaningful to him. He is further remembered by his Circle K family: Jessica Morrow of Raiford, Autumn Retcho of Sanderson, Taylor Morrow of Raiford, R.J. Huggins, and Nicolas Copher, both of Macclenny, all of whom shared in his daily conversations and laughter. James will be remembered for his kindness, warm smile, and the way he made people feel at home. Though he will be greatly missed, we find comfort in knowing his rest is peaceful and his journey complete. James will be laid to rest at Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date. We are deeply grateful and appreciative of the love and support Blackburn-Curry Funeral Home extended to us during our time of need. Cremation arrangements entrusted to the dedicated care of BLACKBURN-CURRY FUNERAL AND CREMATION, 380 N. Lowder Street, Macclenny, Florida 32063. (904) 259-2806.
