James Alan Tabbot, age 36, of Sanderson, Florida, passed away tragically on Thursday, June 29, 2023. He was born in Orange Park on December 25, 1986, to Cynthia M. Thomas and Paul A. Tabbot and had lived most of his life in Baker County. James was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed reading, being outdoors, and fishing. Mostly though, James was a big-hearted person who loved spending time with his family and helping others. Survivors include his father, Paul A. Tabbot of Jacksonville; mother, Cynthia M. Thomas of Macclenny; sisters, Shelly Tabbot (Antwan Givens) and Kimberly Carter, both of Macclenny; nephews and nieces, Zachary Manning, Nate Wilson, Lizzie Wilson Shayla Paige, and Amara Givens; along with a great-nephew, numerous great-nieces, and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
