James Kevin Boyett Sr., age 65, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at St. Vincent's Medical Center Riverside. He was born in Tampa on September 27, 1958, to Evelyn A. (Carver) and James Edward Boyett and had lived in Jacksonville for the past 65 years. James proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was not scared of hard work and was a retired over-the-road truck driver. He loved watching football, especially when the Florida Gators were playing. James was preceded in death by his father, James E. Boyett, and sister, Stephanie Stillman. Survivors include his sons, James Kevin Boyett Jr. (Rennee) and Chase Boyett; mother, Evelyn Boyett; brother, Steven Carter Boyett (Angela); nephews, James Matthew Foyt and Ryan Boyett; and niece, Jamie Winegardner (Mike).
