Jacqueline “Jackie” Jackson Harris, age 78, of Maxville, Florida, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 28, 2026. She was born in Jacksonville on August 16, 1947, to Alduth Lucille (Hooten) and Jack Jackson.
Jackie graduated from Paxon High School. She moved to Maxville from Jacksonville in 1986 and attended Maxville Baptist Church.
Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She found great joy in traveling and spending precious moments with her favorite people.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Martin Gossage and John Harris; daughter, Wendy Harris; and brother, John Ferguson. Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Raymond Harris of Maxville; sons, Carl Harris, Byron Harris, and Tony Harris; brother, Bruce Ferguson; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and very good friend, Julie Tretick.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
