Hunter Mathew Combs, age 23, of Sanderson, Florida, passed away tragically on Thursday, January 20, 2022. He was born on January 30, 1998, in Orange Park to Dennis Earl and Stephanie Diane (Johns) Combs and had lived all of his life in Baker County. Hunter was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, or just running the woods being free. Survivors include his father, Dennis Earl Combs of Sanderson; mother, Stephanie Diane Combs of Sanderson; brothers, Travis Combs (Christianna) of Sanderson and Dustin Combs of Jacksonville; sister, Lindsey Combs of Jacksonville; grandmother, Mavis Dowling of Glen St. Mary; nieces, Ellianna and Taytumn; nephew, Tanner; as well as numerous other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Reverend Eddy Sanders officiating.
