Hubert “Earl” Stalnaker, age 83, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at his home under the care of Haven Hospice after an extended illness. The son of Hubert Rollan and Doris Frita (Knowles) Stalnaker, he was born on April 2, 1943, in Fort White, Florida. 
Having grown up in Fort White, Earl moved to Baker County in 1984. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Robin Bratcher; and beloved wife of 47 years, Betty Sue Stalnaker. Survivors include his children, Julie Wilkerson (Ernie George) of Glen St. Mary, Steve Stalnaker of Glen St. Mary, and Willie Alligood (Alicia) of Jacksonville; brother, Bobby Gene Stalnaker (Nancy) of Fort White; sisters, Ann Harrell of Taylor and Sara Nell Boynton of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Madison, Taylor, Christian, Jennifer, Maddie, Christopher, and Amy Lee; and great-grandchildren, Anna Marie, Ace, and Lio. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in O'Brien, Florida.
