Obituary

Heather Rae Foley Travis, age 50, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville after an extended illness. She was born in Barstow, California, on September 4, 1974, the only daughter of Pamela Kay (Bragg) and Roderick Thomas Foley. She had lived in Baker County for the past 12 years. Heather loved softball and proudly played for the University of Georgia Women's Softball Team. She coached Middleburg Broncos Girls Softball. She was also a mentor coach for her sons as they grew up playing and a longtime Chicago Cubs fan. Heather was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Richard and Regina Bragg. She was an awesome copilot to her beloved husband of 27 years, David Leroy Travis of Macclenny; sons, Hunter Travis (Brooke T) of Macclenny, Zachary Travis (Brooke C) of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Justin Travis (Belynda) of Norman, Oklahoma; parents, Roderick and Pamela Kay Foley of Groveland; brother, Bryan T. "Bubba" Foley (Laurie Rietz) of Clermont; grandchildren, Holden, Lilliana, Ayeden, and Belynda; and nieces, Makenna Lynn Foley and Ashlyn Grace Foley.
