Mr. Harold Crews, age 61, of Glen St. Mary, Florida passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the Acosta-Rua Center for Caring after an extended illness. He was born in Macclenny, Florida, the son of Andrew Jackson Sr. and Mabel Irene (Culpepper) Crews. Harold enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, loved to cook on the grill, liked watching NASCAR Racing and was a fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. He was a great auto mechanic and spent most of his life working on cars. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Alton Crews, and Andrew Jackson Crews Jr. Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Madeline Crowe of Lafayette, LA; brothers, Bobby G. Crews (Betty Jean) of Glen St. Mary, Woody Crews (Charlotte) of Glen St. Mary, Archie Crews of Raiford, and Paul L. Crews of Glen St. Mary; sisters, Margaret Watson and Delois "Tommy" Crews both of St. George, GA and Jeanette Best (Alvin) of Fernandina Beach; close friend of the family, Leo Taylor; and multiple nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 am on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Macedonia Independent Methodist, 6468 County Road 23c, Macclenny, FL 32063 with Rev. Bobby Crews and Rev.
