Glenda Marie Raulerson Starling, age 73, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at her home with her loving cousin by her side. She was born in Macclenny on June 29, 1951, to Harley Raulerson and Victoria Hodges Raulerson. Glenda was a lifelong resident of Macclenny. After graduating in 1969 from Baker County High School, she pursued a lifetime career with Stockton, Whatley, Davin and Company, in years changing its name to Bank of Boston and then to Washington Mutual. She served for more than 35 years until her retirement. When not working, Glenda loved to hunt, fish, and ride the woods with her beloved husband, Escoe Starling. They spent over 50 happy years together until his death in 2018. Glenda loved her family and many friends, and loved spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband; and siblings, Bernice Raulerson Whitehead, Hilda Raulerson Crews, and James Harley Raulerson. Glenda is survived by her children, David (Sally) Starling, Laura Starling Wilkerson, Adam (Carrie) Starling, Erica Starling, and Heather Starling; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a special cousin, Vivian Crews. A Celebration of Glenda's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Tommy Richardson and Reverend Allen Crews officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
