Geraldine J. Lyons, age 84, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at her home with her family's loving presence surrounding her. She was born in Baxter, Florida, on June 16, 1941, one of three girls to Gertie (Gainey) and Hassie Johns. Mrs. Geraldine was a skilled fisherman and always tried to give Mr. Londie good competition. She enjoyed shopping and cooking for friends and family. Geraldine loved going to the beach to relax and searching the sand for shark's teeth. She loved serving the Lord and fellowshipping with her church family at CFT. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister-in-Christ, Mrs. Lyons' memory will be embedded in the hearts of those who knew her until their beautiful reunion with God. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lillian Burnsed and Kathy Johns; and beloved husband of 64 years, Londie Lyons. She leaves behind her daughters, Sherlene Johnson of Macclenny and Darlene Higginbotham (Jeff) of Dandridge, Tennessee; grandchildren, Lauren Craig (Matt), Steven Johnson (Erin), and Casey Higginbotham; and great-grandchildren, Anna Grace, Caleb, Luke, Harper, and Bailey. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Christian Fellowship Temple with Pastor David Thomas and Pastor Timmy Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to services at the church.
