Gary Randall Roton Jr., age 53, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital after a three year battle with cancer. He was born in Jacksonville on March 25, 1971, to Beverly Gayle (Lightsey) and Gary R. Roton. Gary faithfully served his country with the United States Army and had lived in Baker County for the past 24 years. He was a giving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who enjoyed listening to music and fishing. Gary was preceded in death by his father, and his son, Aaron R. Roton. Survivors include his mother, Beverly Gayle Roton of Glen St. Mary; sister, Sandra West (Timmy) of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Mary Anna, Arianna, and Heni Ray; and niece, Tiffanie Woods.
