Gary Gordon Patrick, age 81, a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026. He was born on May 4, 1945, in Jacksonville to Bertha Mae (Yates) and Guy Gordon Patrick. 
Mr. Patrick spent many years driving a truck for the City of Jacksonville. He loved fishing, racecars, and wrestling.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Nancy L. Bullock Patrick; daughters, Melissa Neader (Richard) and Christy Word; sister, Patricia Cheyne (Bob); grandchildren, Alan Neader (Alyssa), Kristina Wilson (Kyler), Colby Word (Marlena), Corey Word (Danielle), and Kendall Word; great-grandchildren, Cohen Word, Kenna Word, Coraline Word, Kinsley Word, Reese Wilson, Riley Wilson, Bayllor Wilson, and Avery Jo Neader; nephews, Rob Cheyne (Tracy), Keith Blevins (Erica), and Ross Blevins (Tammy); niece, Pamela Wagner (Mark); sisters-in-law, Brenda Parker (Ray), Connie Blevins (Terry), and Edith McLean (Jerry); along with many other family members and friends. 
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
