Franklin Delano Wilson, age 84, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away peacefully on the early morning of Tuesday, April 28, 2026. He was born on February 24, 1942. 
Franklin was a very hard working man who dedicated his life to providing for his family. After retirement, he found joy in the simple things like working in his garden, enjoying good food, and spending time with the people he loved most. His family meant everything to him, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 
Franklin was preceded in death by his son, Jason “Dank” Brevaldo; great-grandson, Brantley Cohen; siblings, Louis Wilson and Claude Paschall; and parents, Milton “Dixie” Wilson, Shelly Waldren, and Nettie and Alvie Wilson. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Wilson; children, Rhonda Brevaldo and Ronald “Buck” Brevaldo; grandchildren, Devan (Kristi) Cohen, Sarah (Clinton) Hodges, Alan Brevaldo, and Chloe Brevaldo, Frankie (Kris Ann) Canaday, Wesley (Heather) Canaday, Rusty Canaday, Cindi Gordon; and cherished great-grandchildren, Kiersten, Clayton, Kendall, Ethan, Victoria, Jason, Devan Jr., Braelynn, Aiyden, Kyler, Delilah, Kinley, Madalyn, Ella, Mason, and Jolene; along with other numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Mildred Gillis, Rachel Keene, Myrtis Oliver, Irvin Paschall, and Donnie Paschall, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and his special best friend, Larry Cochran.
A life so well lived leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and memories that will be cherished forever. 
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Sam Combs officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
