Frances L. King, age 87, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 14, 1937, in Branchland, West Virginia, one of nine children to Dora (Harper) and Carrol A. Lucas, and had lived in Baker County for the past 12 years. Mrs. King was a wonderful wife who enjoyed playing BINGO with her friends at Wells Nursing Home and working on puzzles. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include her beloved husband of 41 years, Charles O. King of Macclenny; brother, Duane Lucas of Macclenny; and numerous nieces and nephews.
