Evelyn Lenora Johnson Sellers, age 90, of Jacksonville, Florida, went Home to be with her Lord on Friday, January 21, 2022. Evelyn was born in Augusta, Georgia, on August 1, 1931, to Eli W. Johnson and Lillian Gore Johnson. She lived in Jacksonville most of her life. She retired after working for Sam's Club in sales. Evelyn was loved by her family and friends. She loved The Lord and served Him all of her life. She loved going to God's house every service, revivals, church functions, and anywhere God's people gathered. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Marvin L. Sellers; son, Harold Sellers; five brothers and one sister. Survivors include special loved ones, Tony and Barbara O'Neal; granddaughters, Charlotte Sellers Aldridge, Lauren O'Neal (Elijah) Hodges, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Otis Road Church of God, 801 Otis Road, Jacksonville, Florida with Pastor Steve Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
