Donna Elaine Barbee Jankowski, age 68, of Jacksonville, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 13, 2025. She was born in Clovis, New Mexico, on March 22, 1957, to Ray and Loreta (Boyer) Barbee. Mrs. Jankowski most recently moved to Jacksonville, Florida, from Springfield, Missouri. She became a member of West Jacksonville Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Mrs. Jankowski and her husband lived in many places over the years as Mr. Jankowski served as a Pastor. She graduated from Parkview High School in Springfield, formerly drove a bus for the City of Springfield, Missouri, and taught school at Oldsmar Christian School near Clearwater, Florida. During her life, Mrs. Jankowski attended St. Petersburg College in Florida, Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. She was a talented singer and musician. She loved to sew, quilt, and was an exceptional cook. Mrs. Jankowski loved the Lord and faithfully read the Bible. Survivors include her husband of over 50 years, Ken Jankowski; sons, Kenneth Jankowski Jr., Jay Jankowski (Jenna), Michael Jankowski, and Scott Jankowski (Natalie); daughters, Marie Bishop (Wendell) and Marisha Thompson (Steven); brother, Daniel Barbee; sisters, Jerri Hawkins (Guy) and Alice Foster; along with 13 grandchildren and numerous other family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida, with Pastor Rodney Kelley officiating.
