Donald Harry Lambing Jr., age 59, of Sanderson, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 8, 1966, in Erie, Pennsylvania. He was one of five children born to Katherine Ann (Lowman) and Donald Harry Lambing Sr. Donald had been a resident of Baker County for the past ten years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed fishing, tinkering with projects, and being a DIY handyman. Donald became a father at an early age, but was a selfless, hardworking young man from the start. He served his nation faithfully in the United States Army, then dedicated 30 years of his life to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. Donald was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his beloved wife of 33 years, Caile Lambing of Sanderson; sons, Donald E. Lambing (Katherine) of Erie, Pennsylvania, Adam Ryan Lambing (Amanda) of Berthoud, Colorado, Robert S. Lambing (Britney) of Middleburg, Edward John Lambing (Tiara) of Erie, Pennsylvania, and Brandon M. Lambing of Sanderson; brothers, Edward Lambing of Yulee and Kenn Lambing (Gambit) of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Margaret Sheridan (Dave) of Erie, Pennsylvania and Tammy Mountain (Dave) of East Springfield, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Sammy, Alexis, Ryan, Abigail, Bentley, Remington, Sebastian, Liam, Ila, and Benjamin; with one great-grandbaby on the way.
