US Army Ret. SFC Donald A. Horne of Macclenny, Florida, passed away at his home on Friday, December 2, 2022, at the age of 88 with his beloved wife by his side. A Veteran of The Korean War, Donald served his country in the US Navy and as Naval Reserve. Donald is survived by his wife, Judith Horne; daughters, Patricia Wilson and Helen Martel; stepdaughters, Suzanne M. Eckler (William) and Doris A. Panburn (Kenneth); grandchildren, Harmony Youngs, Jeremy Tittemore, Nicole White, Carrie Humphrey, Morgan Horne, Desiree Spence, Donnie Martel, Michael J. Sapel (DeAnne), Christina M. Bennett (Doug), Kenneth R. Pangburn (Amanda), Joshua C. Pangburn; as well as 15 great-grandchildren. Donald's dedication, love, bravery, knowledge, discipline, and patriotism will live on in each life he touched, and his service will never be forgotten. A Celebration of Donald's Life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at St. Peter's in the Glen Anglican Church.
