Dieumercie Eloi, age 80, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville. She was born on November 11, 1942, in Arcahaie, Haiti, to Pierre Eloi and Andrea (Monfort) Eloi. Mrs. Eloi moved to Baker County from Jacksonville in 2018. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who focused her time and devotion to the care of her family. Mrs. Eloi was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two sisters; and her beloved husband, Elifaite Joseph. Survivors include her sons, Josue Joseph, Jean Eli Joseph, Jonas Joseph, Dieufaite Joseph, and Brino Joseph; daughters, Pheebee Joseph and Chrislaine Joseph; 23 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mike Ramondetta officiating.
