IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Destiny And
Athena Trewin
December 18, 2023
Destiny Star Trewin, age 24, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023. She was born in Orange Park, Florida, on April 2, 1999. She is preceded in death by her uncle, Carl B. Courtney. Destiny is survived by her husband, Maxwell Gregory Trewin; mother, Annette C. Williamson (Michael); beloved daughter, Arianna; sisters, Brittany Danielle Gancars (Korey) and Bethany Ann Williams; brother, Gabriel Edward Herrera; half-sisters, Nicole Marie Yurkovic (Frank) and Amanda Kay Maldonado; grandmother, Belva Carter; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Destiny was a vivacious and spunky soul who departed this world too soon. With her sassy spirit, she brought laughter and warmth to her family and friends, leaving an unforgettable imprint on those fortunate enough to share in her joy. Destiny's helpful nature extended beyond her inner circle, reaching out to strangers with a kindness that made the world brighter. Whether lending a hand or offering a witty remark, she made an impact on everyone she encountered. Tragically, Destiny's seven-week-old baby, Athena, also left this world too soon. In their brief time together, Destiny showered Athena with a love that words cannot express. Their bond, though fleeting, remains eternally cherished. Destiny leaves behind her seven-year-old daughter, Arianna, who will undoubtedly feel the weight of her mother's absence. Arianna, in her grief, joins the collective mourning for a mother who was not only sassy and spunky but also a source of love and support. As a daughter, sister, mother, granddaughter, aunt, and cousin, Destiny's absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. The legacy of her spunkiness, sass, and generosity will echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. As we remember Destiny and Athena, let us also extend our thoughts and prayers to Arianna and the entire family. May the memories of Destiny's sassiness and generosity bring solace in this challenging time and may she and Athena find eternal peace together. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Adam Hardegree officiating. Cremation arrangements entrusted to BLACKBURN-CURRY FUNERAL & CREMATION, 380 N. Lowder Street, Macclenny, Florida 32063. (904) 259-2806.
